Greater Shepparton City Council your EBA vote starts Monday

Voting on whether you accept the EBA deal or not will take place from Monday 2 September to Wednesday 4 September with the option to vote via email or text message.

Members are encouraged to take part in this process.

Wins Secured by ASU
  • Three-Year Agreement: We’ve secured a three-year term, rather than the initially proposed four-year term.
  • Wage Offer:
    • Year One: 3.5% increase in your base salary.
    • Year Two: 3% increase or $40 (whichever is greater).
    • Year Three: 2.5% increase or $35 per (whichever is greater).
  • Backpay: backpay from 1 July 2024.
  • Casual Employee Rights: Casuals are now entitled to:
    • Increment progression on their anniversary dates.
    • Request casual conversion even if they’ve previously declined it.
  • Flexible Work Arrangements: Expanded provisions allow all employees to apply for flexible work arrangements.
  • Enhanced breastfeeding support and safe job arrangements.
  • Access to Pressing Necessity leave in cases of natural disasters like floods and fires.
  • Right to Disconnect: Employees will have the right to disconnect from work-related communications outside of agreed working hours.
  • IVF/Assisted Reproductive Treatment Leave: New leave provisions for IVF/assisted reproductive treatments.
  • Comprehensive Dispute Resolution: A broadened procedure that covers all work-related matters.
  • Gender Equality Dispute Resolution: Gender equality disputes can be addressed through the dispute resolution procedure or referred to the Gender Equality Commissioner.
